Hello! I've had a very busy past week, and I've finally found some quiet time to write! It started last week, on Friday, when my Grandparents flew down from Washington! They stayed from Friday evening, to Tuesday morning, and we had a lot of fun! On Saturday, we went and visited my Older brother at work, then came home for two hours, before driving to Steinway for my Piano Concert. It was an amazing experience, the concert, and I'm glad I did it. We hung out all day on Sunday, and on Monday, we went and saw the movie 'Gravity' before returning home and hanging out. They left Tuesday morning, while I was at school. Tuesday-Friday passed rather quickly, and my birthday was on Thursday! I started off Thursday morning by waking up early, and heading to the Department of Public Safety building to get my permit! I passed the permit test, and now I can drive, as long as my mom's in the car with me! I've already driven four times since Thursday! After getting my permit, my mom and I headed off to Chick-Fil-A for some breakfast, before I headed off to school. School passed quickly, and I surprisingly didn't have any homework! Once I was home, I was on my computer for a while, before my whole family headed out to dinner. We came home, and I opened presents before going back on my computer, then heading off to bed. All in all, it was a really good birthday! I had a small birthday party yesterday, and that was also really fun!

Well, I should get off to bed, as I have surgery tomorrow morning. If you're reading this, it would mean a lot if you could pray all goes well in the morning.

So, earlier this morning, I went to the doctors. This was absolutely no fun at all whatsoever. First, my appointment was set in the mornings, which are the times I feel nauseous.Then, they made me drink TWENTY FREAKING OUNCES of Barium, A RADIOACTIVE SUBSTANCE. Thus my reasoning, the doctors are trying to kill me. PLUS, Barium tastes freaking disgusting. Nasty. Horrendous. Downright horrible. But wait! There's more! I had to drink the whole FIRST CUP of it whilst laying on my sides and back. I thought I was going to chock and die. Horrendous, I tell you! I literally think that if somebody came up to me on the streets with 20oz of this drink in their hand, and said, "Drink this or die," I would chose death! And what did I get out of this whole ordeal? (Besides finding out what's wrong with me in 24-48 hours) I got a flash drive, and a lanyard. Which, is actually pretty cool, considering I need a flash drive for school, but it's not enough to compensate for the pain and torture they caused me! This has been a small little update on my life!

Earlier today I was looking up how to get into my dream college, UT in Austin, and I found out that it's going to be hard to get in. But on the bright side, the fact that I'm finding this out now, in my Freshman year of high school, means that I have four years to be the best student and do all the extra stuff to help get me into UT! Now, I'm going to try my best in all of my classes, especially Geometry. Even if it means going to math tutorials everyday after school, because I want a high grade in that class. I will do whatever it takes! Plus, this means I can find more clubs to join, and start my service hours, and start building a great resume for college!

As you all know, today is October 3rd. If you have seen "Mean Girls," then you know that this is the day Aaron Samuels asked Cady what day it is! You know I just had to! Mean Girls is by far my favorite movie!!
