Bisexual Visibility Day

September 23, 2016 0 Comments
Happy Bisexual Visibility Day my loves! I spent all day thinking about many things, mainly the fact that I'm so happy bisexuals have their own individual pride day. Most of the time, bisexuals are overlooked, either being "not gay enough" or "not straight enough" and they don't seem to really be thought of as members of the LGBTQ+ community much.

Being able to have a pride day just for bisexuals brings more attention to the fact that bisexuals are real and valid. Also, I'd like to address a few myths about bisexuality that annoy me:

1. Bisexuals are just confused/being bi is just a "phase"
No. Bisexuals are NOT confused or just in a phase. Being bi doesn't mean that you're in an experimental phase in your life and can't make up your mind.

2. Being bi means that you like boys and girls 50/50
Nope nope nopity nope. Being bisexual just means the attraction to two genders- not 50/50 attraction. You can be 99/1 and still be bi! That's the great part about it!

3. Bisexuality doesn't exist
????????

4. Bisexuals are hyper-sexual
Stop.

5. Bisexuals are sluts
2+2=tuna

6. Bisexual women only do it to turn guys on
I just snorted it's just ridiculous.

Now it's time to talk about some famous bisexuals, shall we?*
1. Me!
Not famous, but still bi and proud.

Pumpkin Spice Obsession

September 18, 2016 0 Comments
I know it's September. Listen, I know. But I. Don't. Care. Let me tell you a little something about me: I fucking love pumpkins. If it smells like a pumpkin, looks like a pumpkin, TASTES like a pumpkin, you can bet your ass I'm going to buy it. It's only the 18th of September and I can't even begin to explain how many things I've eaten that taste like a pumpkin. It's beautiful, truly beautiful.

I think autumn is a universal favorite season, and honestly, if you don't like the months of September through December, then what the heck is wrong with you? Not only does it finally get chilly, but the leaves change color, everything tastes like a pumpkin, pumpkin matches are a thing, corn mazes, apple picking, sweater weather, Thanksgiving, Halloween, etc, etc. There are so many good things about these next few months that it totally makes suffering through the heat of summer worth it. I would give anything to live in a world where it was autumn 24/7.

One of my favorite things about autumn is walking into a store and seeing so many orange and autumnal things. I went to Target last week and spent nearly an hour looking through the little dollar bins sections and getting super hyped for Halloween. I know it's the middle of September, but it's never too early to get ready for Halloween. Speaking of which, I actually got a job at Party City, so I have an official reason to get hyped. I had my interview on Friday and got hired on the spot and I start the week after next I think. I'm super excited, since the Halloween season starts soon so I get to work in a fun, partially spooky place. Like I said: I fucking love autumn.

I've already raked up so many things that look/taste like a pumpkin that I'm surprised I haven't turned a slight shade of orange yet. My mom's convinced that I'm going to get tired of pumpkin flavored things by mid-October, and she might be right if she keeps buying me things that taste of pumpkin. Seriously, she went to the store the other day and came back with a ton of pumpkin things. Don't believe me? Don't worry, here's some proof:

This isn't even all of it omg you guys I literally need help
So yeah, by late November I'm pretty sure I'm going to be a slight pale orange color, but I won't even be mad about it. There's something so beautiful about having something that's limited edition that I just want to have it all immediately. Also, I may or may not also have a love for anything shaped like a pumpkin. Here's more proof:

So yeah, needless to say, I really love autumn. What about you? Is autumn your favorite season? Do you also have a pumpkin spice obsession? Leave a comment below and mention something you enjoy about the fall season!
